7-18-14 APLDOH SUMMER PICNIC
On Friday, July 18, 2014 from 5:30 pm till the stars are out, there will be an APLDOH summer get together picnic at Miriam’s River House gardens designed by Cliff and Nancy Drobnick. These gardens received multiple gold awards from the ONLA Landscape Design Awards in 2011 and in 2014. One of the gardens also received a gold award in the 2014 APLD International Landscape Designs Awards program. This will be a wonderful opportunity to see such an award winning project here in Ohio done by the new vice president of APLDOH. You can view some of their designs on the web site miriamsriverhousedesigns.com . It will be a ‘pot luck’ gathering to see and talk design. Bring your favorite dish to share. There will be spa water and herbal lemonade available plus nibbles and a fire in the fire pit. Bring wine or beer if you like. Please no crews as space is limited. Members with guests, new members and potential new members welcome. The address is 6105 Chagrin River Road, Bentleyville, 44022. It is important to enter Chagrin River Road from Miles Road. When you turn on to Chagrin River Road it appears that you are entering the Metro Parks South Reservation—stay along river. There is a ‘no outlet’ sign on the road—keep going—last house on the road. Once off the freeway by I-271 exits, the property is 10 minutes away. We are only 4 minutes from downtown Chagrin Falls. Cliff and Nancy are good at retrieving lost guests so call if you need.
