Presents A Picnic in The Bamboo Garden & Nursery Tours
July 18, Thursday at 5:00 PM
Klyn Nursery 3322 South Ridge Road, Perry, OH 44081
Bamboo is a sustainable plant. The right plant for the right place, yes, bamboo has its place. Bamboo provides visual interest, screening, texture, sound, and color. Some need major containment, others clump, some are large, some are small. Learn of the diversity of bamboo, types available and see for yourself how bamboo grows in the garden created at Klyn Nursery.
Led by Mr Bill Hendricks, our event will begin with a tour beginning at 5:15 PM.
Picnic follows in The Bamboo Garden
Klyn Nursery providing the grilled items: hotdogs and veggie burgers & beverages
Members asked to bring a dish to share ( if you can, still come if no dish!!!)
Enjoy a delicious picnic and networking in among the bamboo!
Following dinner, will be continued tour of the vast nursery. Sooo many plants, sooo little time!
For those who wish to stay late, bring a bottle of wine or your cooler with your favorite brew, and talk plants with Mr Hendricks! How cool is that!
This event is open to members and guests. No charge. If you have done this in the past you know what a blast this was and can do it again as the nursery has changed.. If you have never been to Klyns or to this picnic, do make it this time. Meet and greet and LEARN and HAVE FUN!
